On Christmas Eve, our family experienced something no one ever expects. Our mom’s food trailer — her livelihood — caught fire and was completely destroyed. She lost the trailer itself, all of her food inventory, equipment, and supplies, as well as her cash bag and wallet.

Most frightening of all, our mom was inside the trailer when the fire started. By the grace of God, she was able to get out safely, and we are incredibly thankful she was not physically hurt. However, the loss is devastating.

While insurance and corporate matters may eventually help, those processes take time. In the meantime, she has lost her source of income, her inventory, and essential personal items — all during the holidays. This GoFundMe is to help her cover immediate expenses, replace lost items, and begin the long process of rebuilding her business and getting back on her feet.
