On October 2nd at 2am, my mom was struck by an uninsured drunk driver at 100mph. Her vehicle spun and landed on the opposite side of the road in the trees and was totaled. She sustained injuries but was blessed not to have broken bones or internal bleeding. She is currently not able to work due to injuries but also due to not having a vehicle, as she does UBER for a living.
