Help 'Mom' on her road to recovery

Hi, our Mom, Michele Tierney, had a major heart attack Thursday and had to have emergency open heart surgery. She ended up undergoing a triple bypass as well as a tumor removed from her heart. She is currently in stable condition in the Cardio Intensive Care Unit in Raleigh, but has a very long and difficult road to recovery ahead of her. Due to this unexpected event, our Mom will be out of work for quite some time and will have an extensive amount of medical bills added on top of her normal monthly expenditures.

If there was one thing we could say about our Mom is that she has always put everyone else's needs before her own. Her loving and nurturing personality has touched the hearts of so many throughout her entire lifetime. Many family, friends, coworkers, and even perfect strangers have come to know her as 'Mom'. If there was ever a need, she was always there to help even if she didn't have it to give.

Several people have reached out to my sisters and I asking how they could help. This is what we thought would be the easiest way for everyone wanting to assist Michele to be less stressed during these difficult times. She has no idea that we are setting this up for her and we'd like to surprise her with an opportunity to show just how much everyone cares for her.
