Abbey spent almost the last year in pain and continued working, putting her own health aside for her sweet baby girls Ashlin and Ansley; who are competitive dancers. At the end of 2021 her pain became intolerable and after several trips to ERs and doctors offices she finally had answers but none we expected. She was diagnosed with colon cancer and had immediate surgery to have the cancer removed. She was set to begin chemo early February but that has been postponed due to the cancer starting to grow back. I was hoping the community could come together to give this family one less stress while Abbey goes through treatment in the middle of competition season. Money raised will be for Abbey to put towards her medical costs as well as the girls dance since she will not be able to work as much during her treatment.
