Three days before his 44th birthday, Timoteo Martinez Ildefonso was struck by an unknown driver while crossing the street on break from his job at Whole Foods and died as a result of his injuries. He has left behind his beloved wife, Martha Eve Jimenez, and three kids ages 7, 9 and 12. His family is devastated and in need of financial assistance. The funds will cover funeral expenses and the family's living expenses without Timoteo's income.

UPDATE: Police are searching for a red pickup truck that witnesses said hit Timoteo. Witnesses told police that the driver stopped initially but did not call police or an ambulance, even though Timoteo was bleeding from the head and hand.
