I don’t usually open up like this, but these past few days have been really tough. My mom has been fighting diabetes for a while now, and on February 15, she fell and hit her head. Since then, she’s been struggling with severe neuropathy throughout her body. Seeing her in pain every day has been heartbreaking.

The treatment her doctor recommended could really help her, but it’s not covered by insurance and costs $17,000. It’s overwhelming knowing there’s something out there that could ease her pain, but just want to ease the financial strain.
