Hello, my mother got diagnosed with breast cancer in September 2025. Aside from recently being diagnosed with this devastating news, my mother suffers with severe COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disorder) and is connected to oxygen to assist her lung with airflow. The COPD was devastating news as well after losing our father, our head of household and her lifelong love. My mother has never smoked and our home has been smoke-free since I can remember. Due to the severity of the COPD we recently got the news that she needs a lung transplant and is currently on a waitlist.

We ask if you can share or donate so we can try to assist my mother in her health since cancer treatment and major lung surgery is not cheap. In this economy, any help is help and we truly appreciate it.

Hola, a mi madre le diagnosticaron cáncer de mama en septiembre de 2025. Además de este devastador diagnóstico reciente, mi madre padece EPOC grave (Enfermedad Pulmonar Obstructiva Crónica) y necesita oxígeno para facilitar su respiración. El diagnóstico de EPOC también fue una noticia muy dura, especialmente después de la pérdida de nuestro padre, el pilar de nuestra familia y el amor de su vida. Mi madre nunca ha fumado y en nuestra casa no se fuma desde que tengo memoria. Debido a la gravedad de la EPOC, recientemente nos informaron que necesita un trasplante de pulmón y actualmente se encuentra en lista de espera.

Les pedimos que, si pueden, compartan esta información o hagan una donación para poder ayudar a mi madre con sus gastos médicos, ya que el tratamiento contra el cáncer y la cirugía de trasplante de pulmón son muy costosos.
