Help Mom During Her Cancer Battle

We’ve decided to make Mom a new GoFundMe. There have been multiple updates since the last one, so here goes…

Mom tried for disability, which we had been working on since before she left work over a month ago in early May to get a jump start on things because that’s a very long process. Since then, she was approved for short-term disability, which was just to hold her place at her job, which we didn’t know. We tried to reapply for long-term disability after she found out the chemo she would be getting, which will keep her out of work until mid-November, and have gotten the runaround and told she can’t reapply now until August 11th. By then, she wouldn’t even be getting disability checks until right before she’s able to go back to work. When she had cancer back in 2022-2023, she didn’t get it until 3 months after she had applied.

We know there are resources, and we’re looking into everything we can. Chemo was pushed back because she had a high blood count and will start next Friday, June 20th, and she will then get in touch with a social worker. Until she can get things figured out, anything will help.❤️
