Help Mom Battle Leukemia

Our beautiful Mother, Elizabeth Garcia, was diagnosed on 12.23.2021 with AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia)

upon diagnosis, she was immediately hospitalized due to the severity of her illness. Doctors were concerned with her status upon arrival and thought her chances were slim to none. She proved everyone wrong and miraculously rose to the challenge. She gave HOPE to all the doctors treating her. For those who know our mother, she is beyond giving, a believer in God and her angels around her. She is the most POSITIVE person and, to this day, the STRONGEST person we know. She has gone through so much, yet when asked, she says she feels AMAZING!

Her condition has been so aggressive that she's had several chemo treatment rounds for the past 9 months. The hospital recently told her that they could no longer keep treating her. Her options were 1. going home or 2. going to Texas (MD Anderson Cancer Center) for clinical trials. SHE IS NOT GIVING UP! We have encouraged her to go forward in Texas because we believe she can surpass this. We want her to stay strong and look forward to the future as we need her in our lives.

Please help us raise funds for her travels, stay, food and other medical expenses insurance is not covering as she will be treated outpatient in MD Anderson.
