Help Sylvia and Steve through his recovery Process

Hello my name is Jennifer Vela and I started this campaign for my mom Sylvia Martinez and her husband Steve Martinez.  

HERE IS THEIR STORY: 
My mom and Steve have been a power couple for the Porterville Elks Logde for a few years now.   Steve served as Exalted Ruler for the past two.  My mother Sylvia Martinez recently retired from working over 25 years as a custodian for the school district.

Suddenly,  on Easter Morning 2020 Steve had a severe stroke and with the pandemic in full effect my mom had to leave Steve completely alone at the hospital for weeks.  She spent her time alone at home constantly worried for her husband.  She used her time to create countless masks to donate to the hospital and others that were desperately  needed them.

Finally at the end of May after being separated for so long Steve was able to come home.  

My mom Sylvia had to fix her house up to the standards of the rehabilitation center.   Steve needs special kinds of foods and addens to his drinks.   He needs daily medical supplies and costs are continuing to skyrocket for my mom.  

My family has always supported each other and my mom has ALWAYS looked out for many of my friends and well as the people of the Elks Lodge Organization, I am just hopefully that maybe in their time of need someone could give them a little stepping stone onto the path of recovery, which is a slow but steady process.
