Help mom and newborn heal from domestic violence

Haley Glaeser is a loving mother, friend, PhD candidate, college lecturer and nurse. She gave birth to her daughter, Eleanor, on September 14th, 2023. Only two weeks later, both mom and newborn fell victim to horrific domestic violence in their own home.

As a result of this vicious attack, Eleanor is suffering from multiple skull fractures, permanent brain damage, seizures, 5 brain bleeds and is currently relying on a feeding tube to eat. Haley has one large brain bleed and 5 facial fractures, one which will require surgery to heal.

They both have a long road ahead of them and Haley is currently faced with over $100,000 in bills, including surgeries, neurological testing, feeding tube equipment for Eleanor and a new, safe home to live in - not to mention the general costs of raising a newborn.

We are kindly asking for donations to assist Haley and her daughter in their healing journey. Any donation helps and we so appreciate if you can spread the words with your family and friends during October, which is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

No one, especially not a new mother and her newborn child, should have to go through this. Thank you to the community for all the support.
