Help mom and dad keep alive!

Hello, I'm Basel Alabadla, Osama's uncle. I'm in a direct contact with Osama via WhatsApp, and I have set this up for him since he is not able to fulfil it from Palestine due to current circumstances. A letter below from Osama:

This is Osama, a young man who was living in a simple house with his parents, hopping for a future with his family in Gaza.

My parents and I were planning within two weeks to start a therapeutic trip

as my dad, a sixty-year-old man named Mazen Alabadla, retired after years of being a professor doctor at university, giving all his time and health to benefit his students. It was a normal Saturday, I was getting ready to go to university, and my parents were intending to go to the market in order to get some travel supplies (bags, clothes, .. etc.), yet in a blink of an eye everything has changed. A devastating war broke out, a war that destroyed our house (I attached it as a cover photo), a war that killed six people of my family leaving them under rubble

, a war that gave a cold shoulder and burned all our plans and hopes. Due to this destructive war, our life has been paralyzed. I stopped seeking my dream of becoming a multilingual translator.

My parents' plans of travelling abroad to receive medical treatment was delayed for unknown date. My mom ( a forty-six- year-old woman named Enas Alabadla)

who was hospitalised due to Corona virus two years ago since she was suffering from acute lung infection. Also within nearly the same time, she had a blow to her head, causing her a migraine headache with nerve problems. In addition, my dad suffers from prostate enlargement that gets worse day by day. Besides, he underwent two spinal therapy, which were very sensitive and caused him to use a crutch.

. Both mom and dad are in need for an urgent therapeutic travel trip as it has been six months of postponing their medical treatment. I will let you imagine how much their health has deteriorated as a result of postponing their treatment for six months, which in turn has degraded their psychological health beside their physical one. Because of this fatal war we live and all I mentioned about my parents, my psychological health is getting worse.

Not to mention, I lost my parrot that I raised for about three years which adds fuel to the fire!

Now, we live in a tent in barren land; accordingly, mom will be exposed to more dust which will exacerbate her lung problems, and dad will be more likely to face aggravation in his health conditions as he sleeps on ground instead of a comfortable bed.

Please, help me revive my dream before I am done!

Please, help my parents receive suitable treatment; otherwise, I will be left alone with no family! I have lost six people. Am I supposed to wait until I lose the rest!

Believe me! All I have mentioned is not but a drop in the ocean of what we face every moment!

Coming to my goal that I asked for, it will be spent as follows. First, 60% (30,000) are movement expenses from Gaza to abroad. Second, 20-25% (10,000-12,500) is going to be for operations and medical treatment. Finally, the last 15-20% (7,500-10,000) is going be to afford daily life requirements.
