My cat Molly is in pain and struggling to eat, and I’m running out of options to help her.

My name is Olivia, I’m 18 years old, and I just graduated high school. Molly was originally my memaw’s cat, and I took her in when my memaw passed away from liver failure. She is the last piece of her that I still have, and she means everything to me.

Recently, Molly was diagnosed with asthma and a suspected tumor or infection in her tonsil that is preventing her from eating or drinking. I’ve taken her to three different vets trying to get answers and help her feel better, but the costs have added up quickly.

So far, I’ve spent over $3,500 out of pocket and on my credit card for exams, medications, and emergency care. The next step is a tonsillectomy, which will allow the vets to both relieve her pain and test the tissue to find out exactly what’s wrong. That procedure alone is expected to cost at least $1,200.

I want to give Molly the chance to heal and live comfortably again. She’s been there for me through one of the hardest losses in my life, and I’m doing everything I can to be there for her now.
