Help Molly Elliott Achieve Her Study Abroad Goals

Hello!

My name is Molly Elliott and I'm a 22 year old college student from Alabama. I am a double major in anthropology and religious studies with a minor in Asian studies. I have dreamed about studying abroad in Asia since I was 13 years old, and I now have the opportunity to make that dream a reality. I was accepted into a program for international students at Chiang Mai University, located Chiang Mai, Thailand. This opportunity is very important to me as a neurodivergent student, as it will prepare me for my future career in anthropology. I struggle with new environments and long-term travel, which are vital components in performing most anthropological research. My goal for this study abroad experience is to find ways to cope with this struggle while simultaneously strengthening my knowledge on the cultural and religious practices of the area I will be studying in.

In order to bring this dream to fruition, I need the sufficient amount of funds for tuition, room and board, school supplies, and travel expenses. I'll be unable to achieve this without some form of outside assistance, so I have created this GoFundMe in the hope that I will be able to meet part or all of the funds required.
