Halloo everyone,

I’m setting this up for my amazing friend Molly who’s had their travels turned upside down by a really unfortunate accident. She’s one of the many volunteers that made stoktoberfest possible.

After a fantastic day out at the beer halls she gave me a piggyback ride (yes it seemed like a fun idea at the time) but things went wrong and she ended up with a broken leg that requires surgery.

To make matters worse their travel insurance expired just a week before this happened. This means the medical costs, recovery expenses and the impact on her travel plans are all falling directly on her shoulders.

Molly had been planning to continue her trip to Morocco but now instead she’s facing hospital bills, limited mobility and a whole lot of stress.

If you’ve ever met Molly, you’ll know how kind, adventurous, and full of life they are.

As a fellow budget traveller I know not all of you can spare much but even a dollar or two would go a long way.

Any donation, big or small, will go toward:

• Covering medical expenses

• Helping with recovery and day-to-day living costs while they can’t work

I feel awful that something so silly led to this and I’d be endlessly grateful for any help you can give to ease the burden on them. Even sharing this page would mean a lot.
