Help Moises Seek Political Asylum

A close friend of ours here in the Bay Area, Maria Elena Ruiz Otero, has a son, Moises, who is seeking asylum in the United States after his life was threatened in Colombia. We are asking for funds to cover the cost of his journey. While there is no guarantee that the United States will grant him political asylum, we want to aide his efforts as much as possible. As you can imagine, this is heart-breaking for Maria Elena and terrifying for her son. Maria Elena has already saved $2,500 but is in need of an additional $2,500.
