Our Dad, Moises/Motet/Tet, had a stroke on February 24 caused by a brain bleed. After a misdiagnosis, multiple hospital transfers, and unavailability of doctors, he finally underwent surgery 12 hours later to remove the blood clots, and a part of his skull to relieve pressure from his brain. Thankfully the operation was successful. He will remain sedated in the ICU for at least a week until the swelling in his brain subsides.
We are anticipating the costs for another surgery to replace his skull, at least a month’s worth of stay in the hospital, medicines, equipments, and tests.
Moises is a loving husband to Cheri, a caring dad to Trish, Maxie, Adz, and Chin, and a devoted grandfather to 9 month old Cara. He is the most selfless person, always putting his family first. He does not drink or smoke, which is why this came as a shock to us. He has always taken great care of everybody else, and now it is our turn to take care of him.
We are exhausting all our resources but it would take a lot more to cover all the expenses. We are humbly appealing to your generous hearts to help raise the funds needed for his recovery.
