Help Moises Dominguez Beat Cancer!

My name is Nayeli Escobar, and I am reaching out to you, my friends and my family, to help my older brother Moises Dominguez and his family during this painful situation. We kindly and humbly ask for your help.

 

Moises was born and raised in Mexico. He is a faithful and devoted husband who is the main breadwinner of his family. He and his wife, Angelica, were blessed with three children and five grandchildren.

 

Moises started feeling persistent foot pain in December 2020. He was diagnosed with bone cancer in July 2021.

 

Since July, he has been in the hospital receiving treatments for his pain, getting more tests, and waiting to find out what is his best option.

 

In August 2021, he fractured his hip trying to get out of bed. Since then, he has been unable to walk — he has been in bed ever since. The bone cancer has made his bones weak and fragile. In September 2021, he had a bone biopsy to evaluate how advanced the cancer is.

 

The doctors initially thought his left leg would need to be amputated, but they are able to save it by put in place a titanium plate. On November 25, 2021, he is scheduled for surgery to remove the cancerous bone.

 

Then, we will wait to see if he gets chemotherapy. We will keep you updated.

 

Over the past few months, our family members have kindly donated money towards Moises’ treatments, but the cost is well beyond our means.

 

With the money raised from this GoFundMe, Moises will use it to pay for cancer treatments and medical bills. This will be a huge weight lifted off Moises’ and his family’s shoulders. It will give them some peace of mind and allow them to focus on their family.
