Lily Tenangueno was born on September 26, infant daughter of Moises and Trang Hua Tenangueno. Shortly after delivery, Lily was airlifted to Holy Cross Hospital in Jordan Landing where she stayed in the NICU for six weeks. Lily was on a feeding tube and oxygen because she wasn't able to breathe on her own, and she couldn't eat very well.
Shortly after coming home, Trang Hua started having a hard time breathing and was rushed to the hospital. She was hospitalized for 7 days with a diagnosis of heart failure, an embolism, and liquid on her lungs. The family feels gratitude for all the nurses and doctors for saving her life.
On November 11th, baby Lily was able to go home, but she was still struggling to eat. Her parents have been taking her in and out of doctors' appointments, and so far, she hasn't been able to gain any weight. If she continues to be unable to eat, they will have to take her to Children's Primary Hospital so that they can help her with feeding and gaining weight.
This young family is struggling with hospital bills and rent. Trang Hua has not been able to get back to work due to her condition and the round-the-clock care of their infant. Any donation will greatly help Moises and Trang Hua and their family pay medical bills, rent, and Christmas.
