Help! I'm stranded!

If we haven't met, my name is Moira McCulloch, and I'm a musician traveling across the country in search of a place to move away from Texas (for reasons that are likely obvious in today's climate). I've included some photos from my trip up to this point for your viewing pleasure.

I've found myself in Johnson City, Tennessee, stuck with a few serious problems with my car. The biggest of these being the transmission. I'll have to fully replace it (what a headache).

It's likely that the steep inclines I drove in recent nights in the mountains sent it over the edge, and now it could essentially collapse at any point in time.

In order to do this, as well as replace rear wheel bearings and brakes, it will cost a very pretty penny. Possibly one of the most beautiful pennies the average person ever did see.

I'm hoping to raise at least $1,500-4,000 to help alleviate the cost, but absolutely anything will be a huge relief!

Here's the full breakdown:

Transmission repair - $3,700

Wheel bearings/brakes/pads - $800

Lodging while car is out - $300-400

As you can see, this is a hefty financial situation. I'm not expecting to have everything covered by any means!

But I can't do it alone.
