My name is Mohtady Ekmail, a husband and father doing my best to provide a stable life for my wife and young daughter in Roseville, CA. This past year has brought one hardship after another — ongoing health problems, job loss, and now a sudden housing crisis.

We recently had a sprinkler system malfunction causing major flooding in our rented home, and not only has Property Management neglected to offer any kind relocation assistance told we must move out by this Friday to allow for repairs or face eviction. The insurance company requires me to pay moving costs upfront before reimbursement — an amount I simply don’t have.

My car is also too large and costly to maintain, and I urgently need to replace it with a smaller, reliable vehicle to get my daughter to school, attend medical visits, and pursue job opportunities.
