From a dark room where the only source of light is a low-charged battery, sweating from head to toes as temperature reaches 38,
Warplanes are bombing around, drones flying overhead, insects here and there and many persons sleeping together in one room,
This is my family and I condition while writing this story for you, people!

This is me, Mohaned. A youth who just started his first job 2 months before the war happened. I was happy, proud, optimistic, and grateful for getting hired in a remotely job as a mobile app developer specialised in Android.
Everyone of you has experienced the feeling of winning his first job, and of course you know how you srart dreaming and planning for your future, how you want to learn and develop your skills to get promoted , how you want to help your family, how you want to get your youngest brother the gift that he’s dreaming of. That’s exactly what I did!
But unfortunately, the war has another plans!
I lost my job!
All what I dreamed of has gone in vain!
Dreams became nightmares, our life turned into a death ghost running over you every second.
To the moment you’re reading, this still happens!
After only 7 days of war, we were forced to evacuate our home since it was a dangerous area. Imagine to take your home in one bag, only one bag!
Insane I know, yet we just took our ID cards, certifications, laptops and only one or two pieces of cloths and ran away.
From that day till now, we didn’t feel home anymore! Our house was demolished along with our dreams, memories, laughs, family gathering, future plans, safety and relief

We are now in the south of Gaza, where it shall be safe but honestly it’s not.
Barely we can get water to drink, and it takes 7-10 days to get water for daily uses. We got sick and ill from caned food which doesn’t contain any minerals or rich nutritions for body and muscles. All my family members have lost so much weight because of unhealthy food, stress and fear.
Health care is another disaster, no hospitals, no drugs, and no means of hygiene.
In this regard, I didn’t tell you about my youngest brother, who had a severe surgery on his knee one month before the genocide. It was planned for him a six months of intensive physical therapy in order to recover and live his normal life, but he just had one month!

He is now suffering from severe pain in his knee and has complications. He couldn’t complete the therapy or go to hospital, no medicine and moreover the doctor who did him the surgery has martyred.
The 7 member’s family, each one of them has a story of how he lost his work, dreams, safety, soul and life!
Help in returning life to our souls, help in our healing and be part of each member story of Rising from the rubble!
If you feel us and couldn’t donate, please help us spread our story and share it with your community and friends.
