Help Mohammed's family flee Gaza

Hi, my wife and I who are both based in the UK are helping Mohammed (top right in the photo) and his family flee from Gaza.

I have personally known Mohammed for several years as he has been a remote freelance employee based in Palestine.

Hi, my name is mohamed saleem elzalaan

I am a Palestinian from the Gaza Strip which is currently under attack. I am reaching out to all of you free people of the world in hopes of helping to save my family and myself from dying here in Gaza.

I am writing this and my heart is in pieces, knowing it is a difficult request I am making, but I am helpless and have no other choice. My mother saosan, my father saleem, my one sister Heba 23 years old , my two brothers abdelrahman and abd elkareem (21years old , 19 years old), and I are all stuck here in this nightmare and are in need of financial assistance to evacute from Gaza immediately.

Since the beginning, I have always kept strong and held on to believing that this horrible situation we're in will end soon and that justice will prevail. However, as we are now reaching the 170th day of this aggression and my family and I are nearing death day by day from the Israeli bombing, freezing from the cold in a nylon tent, and the lack of access to clean water, basic nutrients , my will has reached its breaking point. This fundraiser has now become our only hope of survival.

A little background about me and my family:

‏Gaza has been my home all my life. I lived there for 26 years and managed to survive more than five Israeli attacks. I work in the field of freelancer, and because of the war, my work has been completely disrupted due to the continuous displacement, the internet being cut off, and its unavailability except in distant areas. My family and I are in a state of constant displacement, trying to

‏escape for our lives.

‏Since the start of the attack on Gaza on October 7, my family and I have been forcibly displaced more than four times. The first time we moved from a dangerous area in northern Gaza to semi-safe areas. Then, under the threat of bombs, we evacuated north, left our home and our lives behind, taking barely anything with us except a single change of clothes, and moved south to Wadi Gaza. From there, we continued the forced displacement from one area to another in the southern region of the Gaza Strip, until we ended up in a nylon tent on the banks of the

‏Rafah Sea.

Right now, my family and I are barely surviving. We are facing extremely difficult circumstances and are unable to access basic necessities such as clean water, basic foodstuffs and proper healthcare. We are so exhausted and exhausted.

Right now, Gaza offers us no safe haven, only death and displacement!

‏The only way to evacuate from Gaza now is across the Egyptian border at Rafah, which seems simple enough. However, to cross this border, my family and I have to pay US$5,000 per person to be allowed to cross. This amount also continues to rise every minute as the situation here becomes more serious. Neither my family nor I have this much money.

‏That is why I am asking for you assistance through this fundraiser. For my family and I, this is the only option for us to be able to evacuate gaza and reach safety. It is our only hope of survival right now.

‏I wish the situation was any different and I was able to evacuate my family from here without the help and kindness of you wonderful people, but that is my reality. I have always felt that my family is my responsibility as the eldest sibling, so I will always try my best to make sure that my beloved parents and siblings get to live their lives safe and healthy. To be honest, I don't mind not surviving this if only they have a better chance at a safer and healthier life.
