Meet Mohammed Abu Saif and his sister Mona. Mohammed, 24 years old, had just finished his bachelor's degree and was working hard to support his family when the war tore apart their lives. Mona, only 17, had dreams of studying law and making a difference in her community. But their dreams were shattered by the relentless bombings and destruction in Gaza.
Every day is a struggle for Mohammed and Mona. They face the constant fear of arrest, injury, and even death due to the ongoing conflict. Their family's savings have been wiped out, their home destroyed, and they've been displaced multiple times, now living in makeshift tents.
Their situation in Gaza is dire. The cost of living has skyrocketed, basic necessities like food and water are scarce and unaffordable, and the health system has collapsed. Mohammed and Mona live in constant fear, unable to sleep at night, always thinking of how to escape this never-ending nightmare.
But they have hope. Before the war, Mohammed dreamed of building a home for his family and starting his own restaurant, leveraging his passion for cooking. Mona dreamed of becoming a lawyer and making a difference in her community.
