Hi, I'm Eli Mitros, and I am an activist from New Jersey in the United States.
My friend Mohammed Tayeh is 23 years old from the Gaza strip, and his whole life has been turned upside down. Despite being forced to live through a cruel war, he has miraculously survived many times even through several bombings, and despite having been displaced. The war has taken everything from him: His home, his memories, and he had to stop his university studies.
But you can help him to gain some of that back for him. He is a survivor, who will never stop trying to protect his loved ones and take on responsibilities for them.
If you can chip in even just $5 to support Mohammed's goal, that will go a long way to allow them to build a more stable life, despite the horrible circumstances that he is experiencing. Free free Palestine, from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.
Mohammed sincerely thanks you for your support, even if you just took the time to read his story.
I will be sending the funds donated to this directly to Mohammed for for relief supplies, and eventually to help him complete his university education, as well.
From Mohammed:
My name is Mohammad Tayeh.
I am not a number or a passing headline. I am a human being with a family and dreams that were once very simple — a safe home and a peaceful life.
My family is everything I have: Musab, Yaser, Ali, and my sisters Amina and Hula. We used to live together in a home that held our laughter and protected us. But the war took everything from us.
Our house was destroyed, and we were displaced many times, moving from place to place in search of safety. Each time we survived the bombing, we lost a part of ourselves.
We survived physically, but we lost the life we once knew.
Today, we have nothing — no home, no safety, and no way to meet even our most basic needs. I carry the responsibility of my family every day, and the weight is unbearable. Still, a small hope remains in my heart that humanity has not disappeared.
I am asking for your help — not out of pity, but for support that can help restore some safety and dignity to my family.
Your help could be the difference between despair and hope, between hunger and life.
