Hello everyone
About myself :
Perhaps some of you know me well, but I would like to introduce myself. I am Mohammad Qudaih, a member of the medical staff here in Gaza. I finished my university studies in July of 2023. I have worked as a volunteer since the beginning of the war until this moment and have never left the hospitals, starting with Nasser Medical Complex. Then, passing through the Gaza European Hospital in Rafah, in a complex displacement process that contains many memories of pain and suffering that no human being can imagine.
Since the start of the war, I have devoted myself to volunteer work in hospitals without stopping.Through these words, I would like to introduce myself to those who do not know me, and to express my deep belief in the importance of humanitarian work in light of the difficult circumstances in which we live.
Displacement and its difficulties :
From the beginning of the war, from the first day, we were forced to leave our border village due to the difficult conditions. We fled from the village of Khuza’a to the large town of Abasan, leaving behind many memories. We did not know that we would not be able to return to our homes. After a few days, we were also forced to flee again to Khan Yunis and then to Rafah, and every displacement process carries within it a lot of suffering and oppression. Believe me, I cannot describe it because you have never felt a day when you do not know what is coming to you and what step you should take next time because that step might It will cost you the life of an entire family, because you will decide where to flee and look for a safe place..
About my family :
My family consists of 8 individuals. Before the war, we were living in tragic circumstances. So what about you now after this hideous war ?
My father always worked in two different jobs (farms) seven days a week, despite his poor health condition. He worked like this because of the low wages here in Gaza, and the costs of our family’s living, including education, health, and various aspects of life.
The destroyed house :
I saw my house destroyed, so I sat crying for many hours of sadness and grief. It took my parents 25 years of work to build this house. Imagine the amount of hardship, fatigue, and great effort they made during those years. Perhaps you do not understand what I am trying to convey, because you cannot imagine what our situation is like in Gaza. Imagine how shocked my parents would be when I told them that all their fatigue had become rubble. This is not just a house, it is our home and it contains our memories and the nostalgia of the family that has always brought us together.
A campaign to support my future and my family :
After receiving many messages of support from my followers, and their eagerness to provide assistance in various ways, I finally decided to launch a fundraising campaign to support my family and achieve my dreams.
This campaign aims to:
- Rebuilding our house, which had become rubble
- Completing my educational career and achieving my dream
- Meeting my family’s basic needs and ensuring a decent life for them
Thank you for your generosity and understanding.
Together, we can make a positive impact on the lives of many.
