Help Jamal Ahmed get his new kidney

Asalamualaikum my name is Mohammed Jamal Ahmed. I would like to tell you all my story of my current unfortunate health situation.

I live in Bangladesh in a town called sunamgoynj. In December 2022 I had to travel to Dhaka (Bangladesh capital) as after visiting my local GP in my town. I was immediately advised to seek help from a specialist doctor, as the GP told me there could be a potential problem with my kidneys as all my body suddenly became swollen with an unknown cause.

After various checks from the specialist they diagnosed that my kidneys were only working at 30% and gave a treatment plan for four months.

After four months of treatment had come to an end, the treatment had not worked and instead my symptoms were now worse. I was now suffering with swelling, intermittent fainting and heart issues. I then returned to the specialist in Dhaka who had then gave me the unfortunate news, my both kidneys had now completely failed. I was truly broken after hearing this.

The doctors then advised dialysis and blood transfusions two times a week. They recommended to go to India for a kidney transplant as this would completely solve my medical issues. But due to my financial situation I could not even consider going to India for the transplant.

Since April 2023 I have been paying £1000 a month for dialysis and blood transfusions. But now has become a hefty burden on myself and especially for my family. I am now unable to provide for them sufficiently due to most costs going to towards my on going treatment.

I have been blessed to have found a donor who lives in Bangladesh who has a kidney match, who I can take to India to carry out the procedure. But due to costs for the donor, and surgery fees I am unable to travel to India for this.

After seeking advise from my family and friends I am now counting on the Muslim ummah’s donations to help me fund my kidney transplant and solve all my issues once and for all, and take this huge burden away from family.

I am looking to raise £46,000 this will cover all costs and fees of the treatment and the kidney donor.
