Hi, my name is Bridget and I’m from the United States. I am running this campaign to help Mohammed raise funds to provide for himself and his family. Donations also support Mohammed’s goal of escaping Gaza. Think about the daily life in Gaza, where violence and death are a constant threat, and basic goods are hardly available or only at high prices. No one should go through that. I want Mohammed to speak for himself in explaining what he goes through, and what his hopes for his campaign are. Here are his words:

“Hello, I am mohammed Al-Jabour, I am 16 years old, and I live in Gaza. After losing my father due to the war, I became responsible for supporting my family under extremely difficult circumstances.

My family suffers from the horrors of war and displacement, as we live in a state of constant fear and anxiety. Every day presents a new challenge, whether it’s the lack of food or the fear of the violence surrounding us. The situation in Gaza is worsening, leaving us feeling hopeless and driving me to seek a new hope for my family.

I want to escape with my family to a place outside Gaza in search of safety and a decent life. I ask for your help and support during this difficult time. Any donation, no matter how small, will have a significant impact on helping my family achieve this goal. Thank you for your understanding and support.”
