Hi,

My name is Kinga and I'm fundraising for my friend Mohammed and his family from the Gaza Strip.

As you all know by now, the situation in Gaza is catastrophic, to say at least. Israel has been blocking all humanitarian aid from entering the Strip for over 2 months now. Prices are skyrocketing, reaching $500 for 25 kg of flour. There is no more starvation, but real and horrific FAMINE. Children are dying due to malnutrition and every single parent in Gaza is terrified their child will be next.

Mohammed and his wife Jenin are not different. They are young couple (both 23 years old) with a small 2,5 year old daughter Seela. They have life ahead of them, dreams and plans for the future, despite the horror they are forced to live in. They just need a little help from us all to make it through.

Hello,

My name is Mohammed Abu Shahada from Gaza City, Palestine.

I have been living under the difficult conditions that Gaza has been experiencing for many months. I am the head of a small family of three, including my young daughter, Seela. We have been displaced more than once and have been displaced repeatedly. I face indescribable challenges daily due to the ongoing blockade, aggression, high prices, and the lack of the most basic necessities of life and basic human rights.

I am an ambitious person, despite all the pain. I dream of having a voice through which to convey the suffering of the people of Gaza to the world, and of realizing my dream of establishing my own business in marketing and e-commerce and opening my own online store, which requires some money.

However, today I live without a steady income, have accumulated debts due to the high cost of living, and struggle to provide food and drink for my family.

I ask for your help to:

✓ provide food and drink for my family;

✓ pay off my debts, which I have accumulated due to high prices and the catastrophic situation in Gaza;

✓ fulfill my dream of starting my own business and generating income to provide a dignified life worthy of my humanity and that of my daughter;

✓ buy a new, better phone to replace my worn-out one, so I can document people's suffering and share life stories from the heart of Gaza.

Any contribution, no matter how small, could make a huge difference in my life and the life of my small family, giving us hope in this dark time.

As you can see, Mohamed is very ambitious person, and he doesn't want to rely solely on people's help, but he would like to be able to support his family by himself - like any other young husband and dad. Unfortunately, this opportunity was taken away from him 20 months ago by Israel, and still, up to this day he has been struggling to fulfil his obligations towards his family. In fact, every day is worse than the previous one... That's why he has reached to me for help and I'd like to join him, his wife Jenin and little Seela in asking you all for your kind support.
