My family in Gaza has no food, no clean water, and no safe shelter. We are trying to survive day by day.

My name is Husam. My family and I have lost our home and have been displaced multiple times due to the ongoing war. We move from place to place with nothing, searching for safety that doesn’t exist.

I am currently the only provider for my family from outside the country, but I am no longer able to meet their basic needs on my own. The situation has become overwhelming, especially as my mother is seriously ill and urgently needs surgery and medical treatment that we cannot afford.

We are living without stable access to food or clean water. Sometimes we wait hours for aid and receive nothing. Other times, we cannot even try because the danger is too close.

My family includes my elderly grandmother who is very ill, my parents who are exhausted, and children who are living in constant fear.

We are not asking for comfort, we are asking to survive.
