Help Mohammed and his family of 11 survive in Gaza

Donation protected
Hello everyone,

my name is Liza, I am based in Hamburg, Germany and I'm fundraising for my friend Mohammed Hisham and his family, who are currently trapped in the Gaza strip and have to fight to survive the ongoing genocide. I've set up this fundraiser for them as they're unable to do so themselves as their location being in Gaza makes it impossible.

They are currently living in a tent in Mawasi, Khan Younis, in the south of Gaza under extremly difficult conditions, unable to afford basic necesseties. Especially with the ongoing blockade and border closures costs have skyrocketed which makes the access to basic human necesseties very difficult. Famine is ongoing and every member of Mohammeds family is suffering.

They are a family of 11 with an infant included, and everyone of them has they own story, their own dreams and hopes but with the ongoing genocide and occupation the main goal day by day is to survive.

To ease some of their daily pain and the huge weight of their shoulders, we are raising funds to help them buy basic necesseities such as food, hygiene items, medicine to their chronic illnesses and essential supplies to survive. Access to necesseties left in Gaza is very difficult and the prices are rising daily and are at an all time high.

The donation funds will be sent directly to Mohammed via Paypal, as this is one of the few ways to transfer funds to Gaza at the moment. If you're able to donate, even the smallest amount will make a differnce for the family and will impact Mohammed and his beloved positivly.

Your support is urgently needed and is crucial for Mohammed and his family to survive in Gaza and to not suffer any more from the hunger they have to endure.

With the borders completely closed prices are continuing to be at their all-time high.

I will give you a breakdown of the current costs to help you understand the needs they must cover just for the basic needs:

*Electricity: 150USD per month.
*Hygien supplies: 400 USD per month.
*Food and water: 2500 USD per month.
*Medicine for Mohammed parents and brothers: at least 1000 USD per month but very inaccessible at the moment
*Clothing: 2,500 USD. The prices of clothing has risen dramatically and they barely habe any belongings left due to constant displacement.

We continue to hope that the situation in Gaza will improve, that Mohammed an his family can finally try to rebuild their life and most of all be safe.

For now, we thank you so very much for your generosity!!

These are current pictures of the impact this genocide had on Mohammed and his family, they have nowhere to go.

If you made it this far, I am very grateful for taking this time!

As Mohammed and his family are all individuals with their own hopes and dreams and struggles i want to share more of them to show you who will be the beneficiaries of your donations!

"I am Mohammed, I live in Gaza, specifically I am from Rafah and now live in Mawasi and I am now 18 years old. I was 16 years old when this genocide started. I was studying in school and I had dreams like any child in the world. I dreamed of becoming an engineer in the future and I was studying hard to achieve my dream that I had dreamed of for years, but the war came and took two years of my life without my studies, and the school stage was stopped because the occupation destroyed my school, and I was trying to study online to achieve my dream, but the occupation forces us to move from one place to another, and I was unable to complete my studies. But I need your help and support for me and my family. I was living in a very beautiful house with my family where there was security and stability and I was happy, but the occupation stole the security and stability and destroyed our home and we no longer have a home now, and we now live in tents"

Mohammed is the youngest and want to do everything to help his family, which als is a heavy burden for a 18 year old. The occupation took all his hopes and dreams and survival is the only prime goal at the moment.

His family consists of 9 members, including an infant and each one of us has his own story and suffering.
His dear father is 57 years old. Before the war, he worked in agricultural. Mohammed and his brothers worked with their father on the fields to provide a source of income which the occupation also completely destroyed. His father suffers from gout and needs special foodwhich is not accessable due to the blockade at the moment, which is why his dear father is in a lot of pain.

Mohammeds mother is 56 years old and suffers from several chronic illnesses, including chronic migraines. She also suffers from chronic high bloodpressure and arthritis. She needs medication to treat these illnesses so the constant pain is eased but all these medications are very expensive and they cannot afford them at this moment. Without them she is enduring constant pain at this moment and is at risk due to the high blood pressure.

Mohammeds brother Hazem is 33 years old and also suffers from constant chronic illnesses. he has stomach, joint, and pelvic pain, which need angoing treatment.
He can only eat certain special foods to avoid upsetting his stomach. which are also not accessible at this moment. Due to this he and the entire family have to rely on canned food that is left, which increases Hazems pain. He also desperatly needs medication which is not affordable for the family at this moment without help.

Mohammeds brother Saher is 30 years old and was studying social work at the University of Applied Sciences. He has just finished university and was waiting start a job to save some money to support their father and build a future for himself and his family. But the war ended these dreams, and he has not found a job yet. He also lost his right eye he has a prosthetic eye thst urgently needs to be replaced in high risk of infection, however it is not possible at this moment due to the intense costs of it at every hospital being bombed.

Mohammed also has twin sisters, Wafaa and Rafaa, who are 26 years old.
Wafaa graduated from Palestine University with a degree in Public Relations and got married before the war. She and her husband had a beautiful home and and build a life for themselves and God blessed them with a beautiful baby boy named Jude. the IOF bombed their home and took all their livelyhood from them. They now live in tents and their son is growing up without a home in between of rubble. Jude of course needs diapers and formula and they cannot provide healthy and nutritious food for their child, nor can they provide clothes because they are too expensive.

Rafaa graduated from the University of Palestine with a basic education. This genocide took here hopes and ambitions.

"Each of us has a story, dreams, and ambitions. We need your help to continue our lives. Each family member is going through a unique struggle. Please help us obtain food, flour, fresh water to drink, and salt water to bathe in. Help us overcome the difficulties we are going through and try to compensate us for everything we have lost, from our livelihood to our homes. Rebuild our home. Please help. All your donations will go to my family. Your support will not only help Mohammed's family, but will also remind us that there is still compassion and kindness in the world. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to every donor who helps me during the difficult circumstances we are experiencing in Gaza." Mohammed

I, Liza, also want to highlight the constant and ongoing trauma each member of this family is experiencing every day. The chronic illnesses each family member has to endure are all a result of a life under occupation.

As you can read now the main goal is to survive but i am also determined to help Mohammed and his family in the long run to rebuild a life they deserve!

I will gladly update you and thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness and generousity <3
