I am Mohammed, a 24-year-old who has taken on the responsibility of caring for my family of seven after the tragic loss of my father 14 years ago. My mother, Jihan, a pillar of strength, raised us single-handedly. With her support, I started my own business to provide for our needs. However, our world was shattered when our home and livelihood were destroyed by the brutal actions of the IDF.

Now, we find ourselves in Khanyounis city Between piles of rubble, living in dire conditions. Our makeshift tent offers little protection from the harsh elements, and each day brings new challenges in the form of disease and insecurity. We are desperate to escape the horrors of war and seek safety and dignity in Egypt.

*Who is the fundraiser for?

This fundraiser is for my family and me: Hadeel, Hiba, Rahaf, Osama, Layan, and my beloved mother Jihan.

Why is this fundraiser important to me?

Having shouldered the responsibility of my family since my father’s death, I have always extended a helping hand to others in need. Now, I humbly reach out to you, seeking your support in our most desperate hour.

How will the funds be used?

We need a total of £50,000 to cover:- £35,000 for the coordination fees to facilitate our journey to Egypt (£5,000 per person).- £12,000 for six months of living expenses in Egypt.- £3,000 for platform commission fees.
