Our Story:

My name is Mohammed Alzaanin, and I am 32 years old. I have been living with diabetes since I was 18, and I am an accountant by profession. I am married to my wonderful wife, Reem, and we have three young children: Wafaa (6), Jamal (4), and Adam (2). My family means everything to me, but today, we face unimaginable hardships and an uncertain future amidst the ongoing Gaza conflict.

Like many families in Gaza, we have been severely impacted by the ongoing violence. My parents, Jamal (67) and Wafaa (56), both suffer from chronic illnesses. My father has hypertension, and my mother struggles with asthma and hypertension. We are a
family of 15, which includes my siblings—Abdelrahman (26, a software engineer), Abdullah (30, a lawyer, married to Zainab), and my sister Marwa (married to Husain, with three children: Jayyad (17), Rawaa (15), and Ismael (12)). However, today, we are all facing the same harsh realities: unemployment, displacement, and a severe lack
of basic necessities.

The Day Everything Changed:

Since the war broke out in Gaza, our lives have been turned upside down. Forced to flee our home, we have been displaced multiple times. We are currently living in a tent, with no access to clean water or sufficient food. The humanitarian crisis we are facing is life-threatening, and our situation grows more dire each day. My children are growing up in fear, surrounded by destruction, and my parents’ health continues to deteriorate because we can’t access life-saving medical supplies. Gaza’s hospitals are overwhelmed, and the health system has collapsed under the strain of this ongoing conflict .

The lack of food, electricity, and basic medical care is devastating .

The greatest fear we face is losing each other. The blockade on Gaza has only worsened our plight, making it nearly impossible to receive the support we need.

We are seeking your help to evacuate our family to safety. If an evacuation becomes impossible, we need support to rebuild our shattered lives. The evacuation plan requires $6,000 per person for border crossing and living expenses in Egypt, where
we hope to find refuge and some semblance of peace. These costs are overwhelming, but they are the only chance we have for survival in the face of this humanitarian disaster.

How Your Contribution Will Be Used:

Evacuation and Travel Costs: $6,000 per person for border oordination fees and safe passage out of Gaza.
Living Expenses: $3,000 for one month in Egypt to cover accommodation, food, and essentials.
GoFundMe and Bank Fees: $3,000 to ensure that every contribution reaches us.
In total, we are seeking $96,000 to help our family escape the daily bombings and rebuild our lives in a place where we can breathe without fear. This is our only hope of surviving this man-made humanitarian crisis.

Every Contribution Matters:

Whether you can give a little or a lot, your generosity will provide us with the chance to escape the violence, give my children a safer life, and reunite our family in a place where we can finally feel safe and secure. Please consider donating or sharing our story to help us escape Gaza’s ongoing destruction.

From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your compassion, kindness, and support during these unprecedented times. Together, we can make a difference.
