Hello, my name is Meridith. I'm living in the US, and I'm fundraising for survival needs for my friend Mohamed Alnjar, who is living in Khan Younis. As his needs change, this fundraising goal may increase.

NOTE 5/10/25 - A generous person in my life donated enough for him to have a tent. Now we need money for everyday meals and a stockpile of groceries. We cannot even begin to help him evacuate Gaza if he has to choose between evacuation payments and a meal. Food makes all the difference.

His greatest need at present is a tent for an individual. He currently sleeps outside. An tent will cost him $300 USD. In addition, he needs food. In Gaza, a kilo of flour costs $30, a kilo of sugar $15, and sorghum costs $20. (all USD) Vegetables and other nutritious foods are a luxury.

My name is Mohamed, I am 21 years old and from the Gaza Strip — a region exhausted by war and blockade. I live under extremely difficult conditions, facing a severe lack of the most basic necessities of life: safety, food, and medical care. Each day passes with great hardship, and the suffering continues to grow. I can no longer afford even the simplest of essential needs.

I reach out to you as a brother asking for help from people of compassion and kind hearts. I pray that God opens doors of hope for us through your generosity.
