We are Alyssa and Sam, college students from New England, working to help Mohamed Hassan

Mohamed is 23. He comes from a family of 9, with both parents, 5 sisters, and one brother. His father was killed, and his mother and sisters died instantly when their house was bombed. For months, Mohamed was taking care of his 5 year old brother, Ali, alone until he too was killed in a bombing late October.

He now lives in an over-crowded refugee camp in Khan Younis. He does not have a home, or warm clothing. Access to food and water is limited and only available after long waits in lines.
