My name is Mohamed, and I am writing to you with a heart full of sorrow and desperation.

Before October 7, 2023, my family and I lived a simple but peaceful life in Gaza. We had a home full of love and laughter, where our children felt safe. Then the war came—and in a moment, everything was taken from us.

Our home was reduced to rubble.

I lost my beloved son, Baraa, in the bombings.

My wife and several of my children were injured.

Since then, our lives have become a nightmare.

We are now living under a tent, without water, without electricity, without medical care—and worst of all, without food.

For more than two months, I haven’t been able to buy basic supplies to feed my family.

We are a large family: three brothers and one sister, each with three or four children. That’s more than 20 people, including injured children, sick relatives, and deeply traumatized loved ones.

And here is the brutal reality:

A 25 kg bag of flour now costs €1,000.

Yes, €1,000 for a bag of flour.

One egg costs €10. A kilo of tomatoes? €100.

How can we feed our children like this? How can we tell them, again and again, that there is nothing to eat?

I am launching this fundraising appeal with deep humility, to ask for your help not just for myself, but for my children, my nieces and nephews, my entire family. We urgently need to buy food, medicine, and basic necessitie to keep our children alive.

We don’t want to abandon our land. But life here has become unbearable. Hunger. Pain. Fear. Death. That is our daily reality.

• Buy flour, rice, vegetables, eggs, and clean water

• Buy basic medicines and first aid for the injured

• Provide warm blankets and clothes

• Support the daily survival of the children and elders in my family

How the money will reach us:

The funds will be sent through trusted people and organizations that are able to deliver money or supplies directly inside Gaza. We are in contact with local humanitarian volunteers who help families in need and will ensure every euro is spent to save lives.
