Help Mohamed and his family in Gaza
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Nada from Switzerland. I'm raising money for 22 year old Palestinian Mohamed Hegazy and his seven close family members: His father Ahmed, his mother Heba and his brothers Shadi (23), Ismail (20), Moamen (15), Amir (4) and sister Shahd (17). Their home was destroyed and the family has been displaced three times across the south of Gaza. Due to the illegal blockade of aid, they are suffering from starvation with just one insufficient meal a day.
Your donations will allow them to buy the bare neccesssities to survive this imposed famine and let them know they are not forgotten. I am sending all the funds through a fellow organiser in the UK and one of Mohamed's close friends to avoid additional fees or the transfer being blocked.
A message from Mohamed:
Despite everything, hunger is the hardest war we've lived through in a war. I want to buy flour, vegetables, and some sugar for my little brother Amir. Even during this difficult situation, he lives his childhood and plays a lot. My big brother wants to complete his college studies, Ismail wants to study basic education and writes poetry, my sister wants to study high school, and Moamen was studying the eighth grade.
I'm a young man from Gaza, my dream is like any other young man's dream, it's to build a future and have the right to study in university. I turned 21 years old and the war started at the of 2023, because of that I don't have a dream anymore, I have lost all my passion and drive completely. Things began to escalate even more and I found myself fighting to stay alive, fighting to make a living. Living in Gaza makes me wonder how I can escape from death, just that. No dreams, no future.
