Help Mohamed and his family survive in Gaza.

Donation protected
Hi, we are Olivia, Christine and Victoria Kelly. We are based in Hertfordshire, in the United Kingdom. We have created this fundraiser to help our dear friend Mohamed and eight members of his family to survive whilst displaced in Gaza.

Each day they is one more day they are in danger & struggling to survive. Like many people in Gaza, they had  been reluctant to leave their homeland- however, their desire to survive has surpassed all else. now that evacuation is not possible, the constant aim is to survive.

Here is Mohamed's story in his own words.

'My Father Fuad, he is 73, my mother Mona, she is 59. I have 4 sisters, the other one is Suha 30 years old, and her daughter Zeina is 5 years old, the second is Batool 29 years old, the third is Ola 27 years old and her son Nasser, the youngest is Nairman who is 20 years old.

We had a peaceful life, our house was full of love. It was bewitching, contained of 3 floors and a garden in front of it at Bureij camp in the middle area.

We left our home and directed to Rafah city to find a safe place. The Israeli military have destroyed our whole neighbourhood including our house and levelled in the ground.

My father, who is over seventy years old, spent all his savings and retirement money to build that house. Now we are displaced and homeless.

I used to go to my work in Gaza, in addition to seeing my friends either in one of the cafes or on it's picturesque seashore. The occupation worked to erase all these beautiful landmarks and turn the city into a pile of rubble.

Our life wasn't very exciting, it was ordinary, but even that ordinary life has now become a dream.

Life has become a piece of hell. We have forgotten the meaning of safety. Bombing is everywhere. The occupation has killed many of my relatives, friends and members of my camp. In addition to this hell, the high prices have become unbearable, and we can barely afford our basic needs for basic materials.

I work with the UNRWA as an Administrative Assistant. I've been working from the beginning of the war to help the displaced people in Rafah city . My work is in the flour distribution for my society.

The occupation targeted the main UNRWA Warehouse while I was working there. I sustained moderate injuries while my colleague who was standing with me a few meters away from the site of the attack was martyred. I currently can't walk on my left foot due to the penetration of many shrapnel into it, and I am now trying to recover.'

Our aim.

Please help us to help Mohamed and his family get back to their dream of an ordinary life.
Mohamed had been studying accountancy, and it is his dream to be able to get back to his studies, attend his work, and live the life of any other 23 year old who is not trapped within these terrifying circumstances.

Although the original aim of this fundraiser was to evacuate  to Egypt. funds we raise with this campaign will be used to support  with daily life for  Mohamed and his family members.  Food and shelter are expensive - Mohamed is a wonderful young man who now has full responsibility for his family within what can only be described as a living hell.
If the situation changes and evacuation becomes possible, we will adjust our aim, however at the moment maintaining some kind of life if the priority.
