Help Moe Survive Unemployment and Disability

Hey all, 
My father Moe (62) was recently diagnosed with scoliosis and arthritis that has caused debilitating pain and immobility so he has had to resign from his job as a school janitor which he did for a local school district for many years. He was about 5 yrs away from retirement.

He was a janitor at Thurston County in WA for about 12 years prior to this and has stayed in similar trades prior to that. He is currently awaiting a decision on disability benefits and has no income coming in. He also cares for my mother (73) who has been unable to work all my life due to her age and schizophrenia / bipolar disorders. He has worked upwards of 3 jobs at a time in the past to maintain a home and care for his family.

They live in Yelm, WA a small town which doesnot have many resources for marginalized people so I would like to make sure he has some care set up while he is awaiting  decisions on his benefits. They don’t have many local friends and no local family able to support them. 

I know it’s not easy for him to accept help but Iwant to step in and utilize my network of people to make sure he knows he doesn’t have to keep over extending himself for basic needs. I don’t live locally or would help in person.
