MEET THE TEAM!!
In the darkest hours of night the streets gleam from the wet of filthy dew. This is no ordinary city. This is the base of the bottom-dweller.
Welcome to Descentia; a dystopian city that lives by its own code. Villainy and exploitation are the order of the day. A generational, systemic choke hold has strangled the life out of all but a few.
But, you see, change is coming.
Out of the shadowy corners of the underbelly comes a hero. A fowl friend. An ally sculpted out of the blood of the oppressed. BOK! BOK! is the sound when he puts a sucka down. So, watch yourself because the pecking is real. And he's long past angry. He's mad...MAD CHICKEN!!
Help us bring this world to life!

As you may have guessed, there is a ton of preparation needed for a film like this and our stellar crew are in the beginning stages and up to the task! Our goal is to secure funding by May 31st 2021 for an August shoot date.
This script was a semifinalist at Hollyshorts Screenplay festival 2020 which if you don't know, is a juggernaut in the short film industry and speaks to the quality of the script.
Anything you can contribute helps us to make this film that speaks to the important subject of food deserts in low income communities but also provides laughs and content that will rivet you to the screen. And with your contribution, you will automatically become a Mad Mafia member and have your name added to a digital sticker that will be added to our instagram page and shows that your generosity helped us complete it! Take a look at our cast!
Moe Irvin as The Chef

Dustin Seavey as Eghbert Graves/Mad Chicken

Aliah Whitmore-Seavey as Black Russian

Dionne Audain as Fang

Please support this wonderful team, join us on this journey and contribute today! With blessings and gratitude we thank you!
