We're a young queer couple making the first steps towards independence and need a helping hand to get started.

My name is Mod and I am going to be moving my partner Alex into my family home, but with my low wage and the current lack of work that's affected both my parents and Alex I want to ask for help in getting started.

Our goal is to earn enough to afford the moving trip from his previous residence a couple states away to here, along with money for our first week of groceries, new license plates for his car, and bed to fit us both as my current home does not have the space to fit both of us unfortunately.

I am incredibly grateful my parents have let us move him in, but given my dad, who made most of our income, has been out of work for months I can't put the financial burden on them to support us.

With the help from donations we're hoping to be able to find work for Alex so we can work towards moving out on our own!
