Hi everyone, I’m heartbroken to share that Mochi is in really bad shape right now and needs medical attention.

I never imagined he would face any health issues—he’s always been so full of life and energy. If you know Mochi, you know he’s the most special, sweetest, and most affectionate boy in the world.

It’s incredibly hard to say, but we’ve reached a point where he truly needs help.

Over a month ago Mochi had a limp. We thought it could've been a minor sprained ankle, he's healed from one in the past. Weeks go by and he starts to lose control of both legs and bleeding from his knuckles. He has a hard time running, jumping, sitting, and now walking & using the bathroom.

We've had X-rays done & nothing was found. Doctors diagnosed him of having a neurological or degenerative disease. The next step is to get a MRI & CT scan to confirm his disease.

Due to this being an orthopedic condition, my insurance would not cover any of his expenses.

Normally, asking for help isn't something I do. I take pride in being able to take care of myself & my responsibilities. Today, I have to set my pride aside and ask for your compassion & lending hand.

So far his consultations, X-rays and pain medication costs us $1,200. For his MRI & CT scan, it can costs us anywhere from $1,500-3000 not including a $300 consultation with a radiologist.

This is the breakdown provided prior to the start of any treatment.
