Mochi my beloved chinchilla became ill on Tuesday. I brought her to the vets to find she has a bladder stone. We gave her fluids and pain meds that perked her up while doing research on surgery Wednesday night she took a turn for the worse and had to be rushed to the emergency hospital. Her temp was low, she had ketosis, hypoglycemia, kidney values were low and low pcv. She had to be on fluids overnight and in an incubator to be able to proceed with surgery today and will most likely have to be hospitalized for another day. Charges were increased more than expected but I still have hope she will pull through. I hate to ask for help so close to the holidays I know everyone is struggling right now. Any help or shares you can provide is greatly appreciated. Thank you
