Mochi is my sweet female cat who has been through so much. She was thrown outside and left to fend for herself, which resulted in heartbreaking injuries. Mochi has a broken bone in her face, a nose injury, and several of her teeth were knocked out. She is extremely thin, her face is full of infection, and her fur is matted with burs and dirt. The open wound on her face causes her constant pain, and she needs urgent medical attention to recover.

Right now, Mochi is safe and being cared for, but her journey to healing is just beginning. She needs special food to help her gain weight, pain medicine to ease her suffering, and antibiotics to fight the infection. Once she is strong enough, Mochi will need surgery to remove the broken, dead bone from her face and to clean out the infection. The surgery will be difficult and painful for her, and her eye will also need to be evaluated to see if it can be saved.
