Mochi is a loving cuddle bug who brings joy to everyone he meets. He’s always seeking attention, and his vocal personality makes him impossible to ignore—unless he’s napping, of course! Mochi originally belonged to my boyfriend, but after a couple of years apart, we were finally able to bring him and his sister, Tofu, back into our lives. Over the past year, I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know Mochi and caring for him alongside my boyfriend.

Unfortunately, Mochi’s journey hasn’t been easy. During the time he was away, he developed several health issues, including respiratory disease, dental problems, ringworm, and possibly even feline coronavirus. His symptoms have been tough: chronic sneezing, head shaking, aching teeth, difficulty eating harder foods, and fevers. As a college student, my income is limited, and while my boyfriend helps as much as he can, his budget is stretched thin due to other financial responsibilities. We want nothing more than to see Mochi healthy and happy, but the costs of vet visits, treatments, and a recommended dental surgery are more than we can manage alone.

I just got to have the pleasure of meeting this amazing boy, and I would love to have the opportunity of knowing him as long as I can. He is a one in a million cat that just loves cuddles and can chill with anyone around him. Any pain I can relieve from him would truly make me grateful. I thank anyone who can help with donations or even just sharing. I think Mochi along with any other pet deserves to live a long, happy, and healthy life.
