My name is Anya, and I am reaching out to you with a heartfelt request for support. I want to share the story of my beloved Mochi, a French Bulldog who has captured my heart and become an integral part of my life.

Mochi(2 yrs old) came into my life unexpectedly, as she was on the verge of being euthanized due to a severe case of rectal prolapse. For those who may not be familiar, rectal prolapse occurs when the rectum protrudes outside the body through the anus. It is a painful and potentially life-threatening condition that requires immediate medical attention.

Captivated by Mochi's gentle soul and determined to provide her with the love and care she deserved, I made the decision to take her in and give her a chance at a happy, healthy life. She underwent her first surgery a few months ago, and although it was financially challenging, I paid the $3500 without hesitation because her well-being was my top priority.

Unfortunately, just two days ago, Mochi experienced another episode of rectal prolapse. It was devastating to witness her in pain once again. Rushing her to the vet, we learned that Mochi now requires a procedure called colopexy with resection of the colon. This surgical procedure involves reattaching the rectum to the abdominal wall and removing a portion of the damaged colon. While it is the best course of action to ensure Mochi's long-term health and happiness, the estimated cost for this surgery ranges from $8000 to $10,000.
