Help Mocha (Mookie) Fight Nasal Cancer

I’m a healthcare worker who has had the privilege of serving my community for the past 10 years. Through life’s highs and lows, my four dogs have been my constant source of comfort, love, and support.

Mocha—affectionately known as Mookie—has always had the gentlest soul and the sweetest spirit. He loves to cuddle, explore grassy areas, and, of course, enjoy his favorite treats. He’s the kind of dog who brings peace just by being near you.

Today, I’m here not as a healthcare professional, but as a loving pet mom asking for help to save my boy.

Recently, Mocha was diagnosed with adenocarcinoma in his nasal passage after multiple tests, biopsies, and advanced diagnostics. It’s been devastating news. His veterinary team has recommended radiation therapy as the best option to slow the cancer, manage his symptoms, and give him more quality time.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve done everything we can to keep him comfortable and stable. His nosebleeds are becoming more frequent and harder to control, but through it all, he remains so strong—still wagging his tail, still showing love, still being the sweet, happy dog we know.

We are fortunate to have pet insurance and are incredibly grateful for the help it’s provided. Unfortunately, we have already reached the maximum coverage limit. From this point forward, all costs—including imaging, treatment, and radiation—will need to be paid completely out of pocket.

We are hoping to raise half the money for radiation to help cover the cost of his radiation therapy. This treatment is not only expensive, but time-sensitive, and we don’t want finances to stand in the way of giving him the care he deserves.

Any $5-10 helps in the long run.

Mocha is not just a pet—he’s family. He has three siblings he adores: his twin brother Oreo, who is his absolute best friend, and his younger siblings, Cookie and Snickers, who look up to him. They are inseparable, and the bond they share is truly special. The thought of them being apart is heartbreaking.
