Help Moana and Tane get to the Big Sing Finale in Dunedin

Moana and Tane Williams are 2 young (13 and 15), aspiring performers and singers, currently living in Auckland, New Zealand with their mom and their younger sister Lily (11). They've recently moved to Auckland from Nelson to access more opportunities and to pursue their passion in acting and music. They are also proud Westlakers having joined Westlake Boys High School since the start of this year. Both boys are members of the schools' premier choir: Voicemale. Voicemale is one of the 24 choirs in New Zealand that have been invited to take part in the Big Sing Finale 2025, this out of over 200 choirs! The Big Sing is a Regional and National school choir competition that takes place yearly: https://nzcf.org.nz/events/nzcf-events/big-sing This year the finale will take place in Dunedin, the South Island of New Zealand from 28 to 30 August.

Moana and Tane love being part of the choir: the beautiful singing, the friendships, the teamwork, their tutors and the amazing learning. They were so excited to hear that their choir made it to the finale. However, due to the cost of the trip it will be hard for their solo mother to fund the costs involved for both. This means that without support, they won't be able to take part. Already they had to let go of several exciting opportunities, including a theatre trip to the US, due to the lack of finances but this time we want to change that.

Please help support these 2 boys to make it to the finale at the end of August 2025 with their choir. Every little bit will help to get them there. The total cost for both boys is 3180 NZ dollars or 1650 euros. This includes the airfare, accomodation and all meals for the duration of the trip. This is based on a set fee, charged through the school account. Any funds raised will be used to pay the school to secure their spot on this trip for the Big Sing Finale.

Due to the rising cost of living, opportunities like this become less and less affordable leading to so many young people missing out on life changing experiences and life-long memories. Let's not let that happen this time.
