Help Mo McAuliffe and Baloo Through Recovery

We are launching a MOGO for Mo McAuliffe!
One of our fabulous former ARIONs and current Masters and U23 coaches Maureen “Mo” McAuliffe recently endured an extremely serious knee injury and underwent surgery. With a likely recovery time of at least several months, Mo is facing a drastic loss of income to cover her (and her devoted and awesome dog Baloo’s) normal -- plus new – expenses during this time.
The goal is $6000.
Mo is one of Saratoga Rowing Association’s four TogaMasters’ coaching “pillars”, as well as for the SRA U23 program. She has coached SRA juniors and for Skidmore College Rowing. As a walk-on phenom at George Mason University Rowing, she earned an athletic scholarship and was named captain her senior year. Mo won Head of the Charles three times with her teammates and competed at U23 World Championships in 2011 (8+, 3rd). From 2017-22 she was on the ARION Senior Team and competed in two Senior World Championships in the 4x (2017: 5th, 2018: 6th). Mo retired from elite racing and transitioned to coaching full time in 2022.
Mo has always been a positive, enthusiastic and exemplary representative of this sport at the highest levels. With all that she has given us and so many others in the world of rowing, we hope to show that we’ve got her back now. In rowing, the race start command is Attention….ROW! Here, the request is Attention…DO(NATE! – Please…and thank you!)
