Hello, my name is Mo! I am an autistic nonbinary person who has struggled with body dysmorphia and self-esteem issues my whole life. After years of working through the system to get documentation and approval for a surgical consult, I finally have a date for my top surgery! This is something that will truly change my life and the way I experience myself.

Thankfully, the cost of my surgery is covered. I provide doggy daycare and boarding services from my home, which is something that gives me a good deal of joy and satisfaction, but since I am self-employed so I don't have the option of paid sick leave. My work is physically demanding, so I have to take the full six weeks of recovery. My family is already helping me out financially and physically, and I don't want to put more of a strain on them than is necessary.

The amount I'm hoping to raise through this GoFundMe is simply to offset the income I will be missing during my recovery. Anything at all is immensely appreciated. Thank you for your help with this goal!
